Gülşah Kemer specializes in supervisor training, with a particular focus on beginning and expert supervisors’ supervision considerations and thoughts informing their practices. She teaches master’s and doctoral level counseling supervision courses and supervises practicum and internship students at the doctoral level at ODU. As the supervision coordinator of federally funded training grants, Gülşah offers trainings to the site supervisors supervising counselor trainees in Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) settings. Gülşah is the Assistant Editor of The Clinical Supervisor and on the editorial board of the Counselor Education and Supervision journals. She also is co-chair of the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES) Supervision Interest Network (SIN).

Fun fact: Gülşah is a strong soccer fan and follows her favorite Turkish soccer team’s (Beşiktaş) games adamantly, despite the 7-8 hour time difference between the U.S. and Turkey!
