Heidi Hutman’s (she/hers) research interests are in the areas of multicultural training and (cross-) cultural issues in supervision, harmful and inadequate supervision, supervisor development, and factors that contribute to our understanding of supervisee nondisclosure. Heidi currently is core faculty in the counseling psychology master’s program at Temple University. In this role, she serves as a faculty supervisor for both practicum and internship students. In addition, she has created multiple placements on campus and served as the site supervisor and clinical coordinator at those placements. Heidi is very active in Division 17, the Society of Counseling Psychology of the American Psychological Association. She has been particularly involved in the Section on Supervision and Training (STS); she currently serves as chair of the section.

Fun fact: Heidi danced competitively for 25 years. She was in the Montreal Ballet Company at the age of 2.
