Ian MacFarlane is a psychologist who trains genetic counseling students. His research is primarily focused on clinical training and supervision in genetic counseling, especially the role of anxiety in professional development. He also is involved in the development of supervision competencies in genetic counseling. Ian conducts training workshops for genetic counseling supervisors and serves on the Genetic Counseling Workforce Workgroup Supervision Training Taskforce.
Ian enjoys cooking and reading science fiction/high fantasy.
