Mary Creaner started her career in education, subsequently qualified as a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor in the mid-1990’s, and is accredited with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). She is also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA). Mary is actively involved, nationally and internationally, in supervision training, research, competency development, and policy development. Her supervision practice comprises clinical supervision with trainees and experienced practitioners across the career lifespan. Her publications include the text, Getting the best out of supervision in counselling and psychotherapy (Sage, 2014).

Hobbies: Mary is a music enthusiast, budding gardener, and aspiring ceramicist.
