Mine Aladağ is a counselor, counselor educator, clinical supervisor, and clinical supervisor trainer in Turkey. Her teaching and scholarly agenda is focused on individual and group counseling practicum supervision; critical incidents in supervision; experiences and needs of counselors regarding career-long clinical supervision; and more specifically on clinical supervisor training, including supervision of supervision. Regarding professional advocacy, she participates in conferences and conducts seminars and trainings on clinical supervision and supervisor training nationally, and works as a volunteer task force member on supervision standards of undergraduate counselor education. Mine also serves on dissertation committees for doctoral studies related to clinical supervision at different universities in order to contribute supervision research in Turkey. Lastly, she acknowledges that she loves being a practitioner, including being a counselor educator, clinical supervisor, and supervisor trainer more than a researcher! That’s why she is grateful for those who find the concept of scientist-practitioner.
