This presentation explores the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in clinical supervision, by providing opportunities for participants to learn about different AI tools and methods. The presenters will talk about AI’s ability to analyze psychotherapy sessions, generate session summaries and insights, and simulate clinical scenarios for skill-building practice. They will cover a range of topics pertinent to AI in supervision, such as the current empirical literature, ethical and privacy concerns, guidelines for achieving AI literacy, professional position statements, and AI’s present impact on supervision.   Attendees will learn how to use ChatGPT to create a personalized clinical supervisor to help them with deriving formulations, setting goals, and creating interventions.  In summary, this workshop provides an overview of AI’s potential role in clinical supervison, while considering ethical and effective supervision practices. Attendees will leave with practical tools, resources, and suggestions for responsibly incorporating AI into their work.
